Below are some activities of which programme officer for environment is supposed to undertake among others;
- To assist in the coordination and promotion of all scientific research inthe field of Environment;To initiate and maintain the establishment of linkages within and between.
- R&D institutions undertaking research and technology activities in the field of environment; and
- To prepare agenda for meetings of R&D Advisory Committee on Environment, keep proper records of each meeting and make follow up of issues.
