Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (BSc CS) in 2006, Masters of Science in Computer Science (MSc CS) in 2011 and Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science (PhD CS) in 2015. He worked as Software Engineer at CATS (T) LTD, Computer Systems Analyst at the Ministry of Information, Sports and Culture (United Republic of Tanzania), Network Surveillance Engineer at HUAWEI Zantel Project before joining the University of Dodoma as a Tutorial Assistant. In 2012, he was promoted to Assistant Lecturer at the College of Informatics and Virtual Education of the University of Dodoma. In 2016, he was promoted to Lecturer. In 2016, Masoud was appointed Head Department of Computer Science at The University of Dodoma. Dr. Masoud is an Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) and has also Certification in Red Hat Operating Systems Dr. Masoud is a renowned researcher in the field of programming education and Database Systems. Masoud is the inventor of the Celiot Compiler which is used for teaching and learning programming specifically by novices. His research areas of interest include; teaching and learning programming,
