CALL FOR APPLICATIONS FOR THE WORLD TRADE ORGANISATION CHAIRS PROGRAMME

The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology (MoEST) received a diplomatic notification from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation informing that the World Trade Organisation (WTO) launched the third phase of its Chairs Programme. The aim of the programme is to support and promote trade-related academic activities by enhancing knowledge and understanding of the multilateral trading system among academics and policy makers in beneficiary countries.

 WTO invites Universities and Research Institutions in Developing countries to apply financial, scientific and technical support for research, curriculum development and outreach activities.

Institutions are required to submit an online expression of interest form and an online application form by 15th January, 2021. The application deadline was 15 January 2021, it has been extended to 15 February 2021. The expression of interest form can be accessed via this link.
